Grow from Your Pain

Pain . Pain comes in all sorts of ways. Pain is also only as powerful as you let it be. You see. When we go through pain, we can either GO through it, or GROW through it.  We can't stop life from happening. Life just happens. It would be weird if we didn't go through the ups and downs of life. Yet still when we go through pain, we ask WHY? Why ME?   A normal question we all ask. We’re trying to understand our situation. Our lives.  Especially when things seemed to be going just fine….then WHAM. You get hit with a problem causing you....Pain. No matter where that came from, I assure you, there is a reason and a hope for you. A lot of times we go through pain to grow. Whatever you do, don't run from it. The Root Cause of Anxiety

Are you a Worrier or a Warrior ? Anxiety seems to creep up so easily these days with work, family and life balance. We live in a society where we try to do it all. We want to be the best version of ourselves. Make more money, get fit, be the better parent, homemaker, cook, spouse, lover, best son or daughter and even maybe the best employee for all the over acheivers out there. Well, there's nothing wrong with that....Or is there? The cause of anxiety is wanting a sense of  control .  The root cause of anxiety is worry . So when we worry, we start to want to control things. I mean think about it. We worry because things are not working out the way WE want them to. This may sound like a normal thing to feel or think, especially if it falls in line with normal and healthy thoughts. We may just want the atmosphere to be more calm, or for your child to just behave at that very moment. Wanting total control over these things will cause us to feel anxious because it isn't realistic.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE

While more and more people are seeking mental health therapy these days, most people still feel ashamed about it. The truth of the matter though, is that THEY SHOULD NOT.  Everyone goes through tough times in life, unfortunately that's just the way things go. Although there is a reason why we go through tough times. Tough times are not wasted if we don't let it waste us. There are many different types of scenarios as to why we're experiencing a hard situation. Despite of when or why you're going through a hard time though; it is important to understand that you do not want to run away from it, OR unpack your bags and stay there in the midst of it. Crying about it initially is valid and necessary, but do not allow yourself to stay in that state. It is important to understand this especially if you have children that are counting on you. It is important to seek help and understand that  YOU ARE NOT ALONE. It may be uncomfortable to initially seek help, we should remember
